This ball club is a majority of the Vinemont Eagles' high school team. Vinemont is 3-0 in the tournament, winning a 16-13 slugfest from the Police Athletic Team Wednesday night, one day after their semifinal game was postponed in Jefferson County by rain.
Vinemont is two wins away from a summer state championship and will look to keep the momentum going that they have established since the tournament began over last weekend.
The Albertville Trojans knocked off Oxford in the semifinals to get an opportunity at playing Vinemont as the tournament continues through the weekend at Clay-Chalkville High School.
